Experienced Tax Lawyer David Suess Joins Faegre Baker Daniels

David A. Suess, who has more than 14 years of experience in tax law, has joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as a partner in the tax advocacy group. He will practice from the law firm's downtown Indianapolis office.

Suess focuses on resolving disputes involving state and local taxes, including property taxes, wagering taxes and valuation of commercial and industrial property for tax purposes. He also represents clients in all phases of litigation through administrative, court and appellate proceedings.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Suess was a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP in Indianapolis. After graduating magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington in 1997, he practiced for a year at Jenner & Block in Illinois before accepting a clerkship with the Honorable Ronald T.Y. Moon, Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, Suess worked as a translator-interpreter for a manufacturer in Lafayette, Indiana. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago.

Suess currently serves as secretary of the board of The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis.
