In Memoriam: Natalie Ungari passes away at age 35

It is with a very heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of alumnus Natalie Corrigan Ungari on Friday, July 19, at the age of 35. Natalie passed away peacefully from complications arising from pneumonia.

She leaves behind her husband, Michael Ungari, and their two young daughters, Caitlin and Annabelle. In addition to her husband and children, Natalie is survived by her mother and father; sister, Angela Waugaman and her husband, Seth of Arlington, VA; her father and mother-in-law, James and Nola Ungari of Westport; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Vleaminck and her husband, Mathew of Cincinnati, OH and Catherine Ungari of Westport.

Natalie was an associate in our Real Estate practice group from 2003-2007. She transitioned to in-house counsel at Two Trees Management Company prior to beginning her own law practice to spend more time with her daughters.

A wake will be held at Shaughnessy Banks funeral home in Fairfield, CT on Tuesday, July 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral mass is at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at St Luke’s church in Westport, CT. Memorial donations may be made in Natalie’s name to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) at 55 Kenosia Ave., Danbury, CT 06813.
