Drinker Biddle Practices, Lawyers Earn Top Client Recognition in Chambers USA 2013

More than 60 lawyers from many of Drinker Biddle & Reath’s 16 practice groups have been recognized as leaders in their fields by Chambers and Partners, an international publisher of guides to the world’s top lawyers.

The 2013 edition of Chambers USA recognized the firm’s investment management and Indian tribal governments groups nationally, and gave the highest possible ranking to the firm’s Native American, environmental, litigation, employee benefits and real estate practices. Individual lawyers in the firm’s insurance, health care, environmental, banking and finance, litigation, Indian tribal, white collar crime and government investigations, bankruptcy and real estate groups also received the highest possible ranking, based on client interviews performed by Chambers and Partners’ research staff.

Chambers USA bases its annual ranking on client and peer references. Presented in bands from one – the highest – to six, rankings can be regional or national in scope. Criteria used includes technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by clients.

Clients interviewed by the publication described Drinker Biddle as “excellent – my model of a great firm” and “as responsive as any firm I have ever worked with.” Drinker Biddle lawyers were credited as being “devoted, incredibly responsive and wise” and “very knowledgeable and very smart, with good instincts.”

“We strive to provide top-notch legal work and unparalleled client service, and receiving client feedback that lets us know we’re hitting the mark is always very gratifying,” said Alfred W. Putnam, Jr., Chairman of Drinker Biddle.
