Sara Hansen Wilson Elected to Membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Drinker Biddle & Reath is pleased to announce that San Francisco partner Sara Hansen Wilson was elected to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). Membership in ACREL is limited to those lawyers distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Sara, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, represents real estate investors and developers in joint ventures and a wide range of acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate. She also has substantial experience representing both landlords and tenants in leasing in regional shopping centers, "lifestyle" centers, mixed-use centers and urban street locations, as well as representing borrowers and lenders in loan originations and workouts secured by real property in various asset classes.

Sara has been named a Northern California "Woman of Influence" by the editors of Real Estate Forum magazine and GlobeSt.com. She is an editor of the California Real Properties Sales Transactions publication of Continuing Education of the Bar of the State Bar of California. She is also a frequent speaker on commercial real estate topics for various organizations.

Admission to ACREL is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process. Lawyers are elected to fellowship not only for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law, but also for their contributions to the real estate and legal professions through their practices, their legal writings and their public speaking.

Sara joins fellow Drinker Biddle partners Harry S. Cherken, David A. Ebby and Michael E. Rothpletz, who are also ACREL members.
