Christine Long Returns to Corporate Practice at Faegre Baker Daniels

Christine Graffis Long has rejoined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as counsel in the law firm's corporate practice.

Long first joined the firm in 1995 as an associate after graduating magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington. She was a firm partner from 2005-07 before joining the legal team at ITT Educational Services, Inc. Long spent more than five years at ITT, most recently as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.

At Faegre Baker Daniels, Long concentrates her practice in the areas of securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. She focuses primarily on counseling public companies with respect to ongoing disclosure and periodic reporting requirements under securities laws, including preparation of SEC reports and other disclosure documents.

Long also focuses on advising public companies on corporate governance matters, stock exchange requirements, executive compensation matters and disclosure issues. She has experience with public offerings, private placements and other securities transactions. Long has advised companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. She also provides legal counsel with respect to general business matters and contract preparation.

As a partner at Faegre Baker Daniels, Long was recognized as a top Indiana lawyer in corporate and M&A practice by Chambers USA: A Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers. She earned her bachelor's degree with distinction from Washington University in St. Louis.
