Drinker Biddle Partner Richard Goldman Named Chair of Young Audiences New Jersey

Richard S. Goldman, a partner in the Princeton office of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, was recently elected the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Young Audiences New Jersey. Goldman supervises Drinker Biddle’s Real Estate Practice Group in Princeton.

“Young Audiences New Jersey is truly an inspiring organization that I am honored to lead,” said Goldman, who has been a trustee for the past 18 years and served approximately 10 years as a vice chair. “By exposing literally hundreds of thousands of students in New Jersey to the performing arts each year, Young Audiences has improved their lives and helped shape the culture of our state in a very positive way.”

Young Audiences New Jersey is a statewide chapter of the national organization and provides arts education and programs to nearly 500,000 children throughout New Jersey each year. The organization annually travels to more than 700 schools throughout New Jersey, presenting more than 4,000 programs to students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition to presenting programs, residencies, workshops and teacher training in schools, Young Audiences New Jersey provides programming at places as varied as the New Jersey State Museum, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and several community theaters. The group offers the very best programs at low to no cost to children, families and communities. To learn more, visit its website at www.yanj.org.
