Hearne’s health care and physician practice encompasses the areas of corporate law and planning, securities law, and mergers and acquisitions, with a primary focus on the negotiation, purchase and sale of privately held companies as well as the formation of joint ventures.

Hearne received her B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1994.  She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1997.  She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and currently serves as a Vice-Chair on the Teleconference Subcommittee of the ABA Health Law Section.  Hearne is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and Tennessee Bar.  In 2006, Nightingale's Healthcare News also named Hearne one of the nation’s 12 outstanding young health care lawyers.
