Two Partners Join Baker & Daniels' Chicago Office

Julie P. Shelton and Michael J. Kanute have joined Baker & Daniels LLP as partners in the firm's Chicago office. Both Shelton and Kanute come to Baker & Daniels from Butler, Rubin, Saltarelli & Boyd in Chicago, where they were both partners.

Shelton is a member of Baker & Daniels' construction and real property litigation group. She counsels clients on issues related to construction, products liability, employment and commercial law. Shelton, who has more than 23 years of experience as a litigator, has defended cases at both the trial and appellate level for Fortune 100 and other companies in a variety of complex matters.

As a member of Baker & Daniels' product liability group, Kanute focuses his practice on product liability litigation. He has extensive experience in representing corporate and individual clients in defending products liability, negligence, toxic tort, premises liability and other tort cases.
