Faegre & Benson Advises Digi International on its Acquisition of Sarian Systems

Faegre & Benson LLP advised Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII) on its $30.5 million acquisition of UK-based Sarian Systems. The deal was led by partner Melanie Wadsworth, who was assisted by Nick Jennings, Alex Denny, Christabel Oh, Kathryn Dowsett, Lisa Comber and Oliver Staple.

The acquisition of Sarian Systems, a leader in the European wireless router market, extends Digi's wireless portfolio and solidifies its position as a global leader in commercial-grade cellular and wireless routers. The companies have similar corporate cultures and vertical go-to-market strategies which will make integration straight forward.

Digi develops reliable products and technologies to connect and securely manage local and remote electronic devices over the network or via the Web. Sarian Systems designs, develops and manufactures advanced wireless/cellular IP routing equipment for mission-critical applications.
