Matthew R. Levy has joined Baker & Daniels LLP as an associate in the firm's international practice group. Before joining Baker & Daniels, Levy was an associate at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP in Boston and at Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP in Providence, R.I.

"We are very pleased that Matt has joined the firm," said international practice group leader Jackie Simmons. "His Mandarin language skills are a compliment to our growing China practice, and his experience provides added depth to the international team at Baker & Daniels, which allows us to continue to provide our clients with the expertise and service they deserve."

Levy received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and earned a Certificate in Chinese Studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. While earning his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Levy interned in the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xuhui district government in Shanghai, China. He is fluent in Mandarin.
