Faegre & Benson Represents Global Energy Decisions in Strategic Acquisition

Faegre & Benson LLP represented Global Energy Decisions LLC in the company's recent acquisition by Ventyx, an Atlanta-based software and services firm backed by Vista Equity Partners, creating the world's largest privately held software provider to the utility industry.

The deal was a strategic move toward continued growth for Boulder-based Global Energy Decisions, which provides software, data and consulting services to clients in the energy sector. Faegre & Benson also represented Global Energy Decisions in several past transactions in which it acquired other companies in the U.S. and the U.K., demonstrating Faegre & Benson's partnership approach to helping clients grow through all stages of the business life cycle.
