GCD Ranked #2 in Survey of Midlevel Associates

Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP has been ranked #2 among 22 Chicago firms in the annual Midlevel Associates Survey by The American Lawyer. The national legal publication has conducted the closely watched survey of associates about their attitudes on everything from pay to partners for two decades.

The newly released survey shows that GCD in 2006 scores 4.168 on midlevel associate satisfaction, while the Chicago average overall satisfaction score is 3.751. The survey covers such areas as how interesting and satisfying the work is, benefits and compensation, associate relations, partner-associate relations, training and guidance, management openness, communications and billable policy.
