Christopher DeGrezia Appointed President of Princeton Bar Association

PRINCETON, NJ (September 7, 2005) -- The law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher DeGrezia has been appointed as President of the Princeton Bar Association.  Mr. DeGrezia, an associate in the Princeton office of Drinker Biddle & Reath, focuses his practice on complex real estate transactions and land development projects.

“I’m honored that the Trustees of the Princeton Bar Association have entrusted to me the leadership of the organization,” said Mr. DeGrezia.  “I’m looking forward to initiating a number of interesting programs and energizing the group in the coming year.”

“Chris is dedicated to serving both his professional and personal communities,” said Jonathan Epstein, partner-in-charge of Drinker’s Princeton office.  “He brings a great energy and enthusiasm to motivating people, and I’m confident he will be successful in charting an exciting new path for the Princeton Bar Association.”

In addition to Mr. DeGrezia, F. Clifford Gibbons and Andrew Watson will become the Association’s new Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.  Four other members have been named as Trustees:  Lisa M. Randazzese, William Quackenboss, Jr., Jason J. Bundick – a colleague of Mr. DeGrezia’s at Drinker Biddle – and Michael Pidgeon.

Mr. DeGrezia is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Mercer County Bar Association, the Monmouth County Bar Association, the New Jersey League of Municipalities, and the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys.  He also serves on numerous committees and boards of civic, charitable and educational institutions.  Mr. DeGrezia serves as secretary to the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees for the Montgomery Center for the Arts, on the Board of Trustees for CancerCare, and provides pro bono legal services to Habitat for Humanity, Montgomery Friends of Open Space, and the D&R Greenway Land Trust.

In his real estate practice, Mr. DeGrezia guides clients through land use procedures and approvals in connection with commercial, office, retail, residential, industrial and hotel developments.  He has represented many national and local real estate developers and corporations before local, county and state agencies for issues such as site plan review, environmental matters, farmland preservation, waterfront development and comprehensive rezoning applications.
