Rail Operator Plans $400M Expansion of Passenger Rail Line

A regional passenger rail operator is embarking on an approximately $400 million public construction project to expand an existing passenger rail line from Chicago, Illinois to South Bend, Indiana. The Double Track project is part of the rail operator's $1.1 billion capital program, which is being partially financed using New Starts grant funds from the Federal Transit Authority. Our firm is serving as lead outside procurement and contracting counsel for the rail operator.
