Overview

Mark Voigtmann is an innovative, business-minded attorney who partners with clients to complete construction projects and resolve real estate disputes. He leads the firm's construction law and real estate litigation group.

Construction and Industrial Automation Law

As a construction lawyer, Mark assists clients with virtually every phase of the construction process, from negotiation and drafting of project agreements to litigation and arbitration of complex defect, delay and insurance coverage claims. He has particular expertise with industrial automation projects and has represented such clients throughout North America.

Mark is the author of The Automation Legal Reference: a Guide to Legal Risk in the Automation, Robotics and Process Industries, published by the North Carolina-based International Society of Automation. He also co-authored a set of contract documents created for a "reconsidered" model for integrated project delivery (IPD) used in two $100 million hospital projects (and is coordinating a companion research project designed to implement ongoing improvements to the model). Mark serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association's national construction panel.

Real Estate Litigation

Mark also has many years of experience representing clients in complex real estate litigation matters, including in title insurance coverage and defense proceedings, and foreclosures.
