William Kalei Kuaiwa

Overview

Kalei Kuaiwa defends insurance clients in litigation and dispute resolution.  His areas of concentration include construction defects, commercial disputes, premises liability, oil and gas disputes, personal injury, and first- and third-party insurance defense.

Kalei conducts fact investigations, interviews, depositions, inspections and hearings, and he drafts motions. He evaluates case value based on legal and factual issues to negotiate mutually acceptable settlement terms.

Prior Experience

Kalei had a long and distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force. His final assignment was as operations superintendent for the 111th Attack Squadron at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Houston, Texas. In 2020, Kalei retired as a senior master sergeant after 26 years of service; and in the same year, he completed his law degree.
