Overview

Allison Kruse offers clients bespoke guidance in order to maintain compliance with a wide variety of state and federal regulations. She counsels clients through creating and enforcing employment policies involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, and the Minnesota Whistleblower act. Allison defends and advises employers against claims related to unpaid wages and commissions under internal compensation plans.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Allison served as an associate at a law firm in Minneapolis counseling clients through a variety of complex employment-related issues and regulations. She also assisted clients in conducting internal investigations, and prepared and drafted noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements.

Allison also worked as a law clerk at a law firm in Salt Lake City where she worked on litigation and transactional matters.

Before law school, Allison served as a member of the U.S. Air Force as a contracting officer. During her time in the military, she regularly negotiated a variety of contracts governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation, giving her a unique perspective into the competitive contracting process.

Personal Interests

In her free time Allison enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her daughter. She also likes to try new restaurants that pop up in the metro-area and traveling to visit her friends that live across the country.
