Overview

Jeremy Kollitz, CFA leverages his experience to advise clients on fund formation and regulations impacting investment advisors. He often works with sponsors of private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and real state funds. Jeremy also assists institutional investors in conducting fund due diligence and negotiation side letters.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Jeremy served as an associate at a law firm in Denver in the investment management practice group. Jeremy also worked as the director of fund formation and regulation at a global investment business in Boulder, Colorado. In that position, he provided legal review for and ensured the execution of investment decisions.

Jeremy served as an examiner and attorney at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission. In that capacity, he planned and lead examinations of registered investment advisers — including private fund managers — registered investment companies and broker-dealers to assess compliance with federal securities laws and regulations.
