Overview
Appellate Strategy
Alicia regularly works across practices in helping clients protect against litigation risk and with administrative matters and appeals.
Alicia has drawn on her prior experience as a research associate at NERA Economic Consulting to evaluate complex pretrial issues, including antitrust matters. After clerking for the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, she has seized on opportunities to develop an understanding of appellate systems, including serving for over a decade as deputy counsel and then counsel to the Pennsylvania Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee. She has authored articles and a book chapter; she also frequently presents on Pennsylvania appellate practice and procedure and other topics to judges, law clerks and practitioners.
