Overview
Tejal Garg defends clients in a variety of employment litigation matters. Her practice primarily involves single-plaintiff lawsuits bringing claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation under a broad range of local, state and federal statutes. Tejal also works with the labor and employment group’s compliance team by helping clients ensure their employment practices and decisions comply with applicable regulations.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Tejal represented employees in single-plaintiff actions against their current and former employers at an employment litigation firm in Washington, D.C. Tejal worked directly with both private sector and federal employees, focusing on discrimination, retaliation and whistleblower claims nationwide. During her time on plaintiff’s side, Tejal gained in-depth experience in trial preparation, trial strategy and procedure, and posttrial motions, including being part of a successful federal jury trial team.
Personal Interests
Tejal loves all things related to food and travel. She enjoys cooking, exploring restaurants and is always planning her next vacation.
