Joe is a second-career attorney who earned his law degree while working as a graphic designer and creative director in multimedia companies and his own firm. Prior Experience & Thought Leadership

Joe is a second-career attorney who previously held positions of lead designer, programmer and creative director for a multimedia marketing/advertising firm, and later owned a creative services consulting firm. He has shared his knowledge with the bankruptcy legal community by coauthoring a regular column in The Legal Intelligencer since 2010. He also authors articles for the American Bankruptcy Institute and others, and speaks on numerous panels.

Personal Interests

Joe enjoys travel, especially trips that include swimming with sea turtles through coral reefs. He can frequently be found camping with his daughters in one of Pennsylvania’s many state parks. He is an avid racquetball player.

Joe has represented indigent parents in Delaware family court custody litigation and has advised nonprofit charitable organizations in debt restructuring matters. He counsels nonprofit corporations in collection matters and wind-down proceedings. He currently sits on the board of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project, an organization that assists low-income individuals with filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.
