What Every Real Estate Lawyer Should Know

Philadelphia partner Andrew Flame and associate Joseph Argentina presented at the Pennsylvania Bar Institutes annual Real Estate Symposium in Philadelphia in a session titled “What Every Real Estate Lawyer Should Know.”

Designed for real estate attorneys, the presentation focused on the impact of a bankruptcy on, among other things, real estate transactions, leases, and non-debtor tenant occupancy rights. Andrew and Joe provided information to assist the participants in identifying for their clients what real property-related rights may be impacted by the bankruptcy filing and steps to best preserve those rights, as well as the opportunities created for purchasers interested in purchasing real property from a seller in bankruptcy (i.e. bankruptcy sales of real property assets).
