Heather Perkins Talks Law Firm Teambuilding at Law Week Colorado's Managing Partner Roundtable

Faegre Baker Daniels partner Heather Perkins joined four partners from Denver-area law firms to participate in Law Week Colorado’s Managing Partner Roundtable, where they discussed strategies for building a strong firm.

Perkins, who leads FaegreBD’s Denver office, talked with the other roundtable participants about working with recent law school graduates, attracting laterals and diverse attorneys, and developing the skills of the attorneys already working at the firm.

She explained that strategic hiring practices and mentorship are crucial in building a strong culture and team at FaegreBD. “I think having sponsors or mentors is key,” Perkins said. “It certainly was key to my development as a lawyer – to have a series of people over the years who were looking out for me.”
