Cybersecurity Enforcement in Insurance: New York and Beyond

As insurance industry cybersecurity regulations mature and cybersecurity events continue to escalate, state and federal agencies have been enforcing cybersecurity events and preparedness. In addition, state privacy law developments seek to expand the rights of data subjects. In this session held during the ACLI Annual Conference 2021, Faegre Drinker’s Peter Baldwin will moderate a panel that will examine the enforcement trends around cybersecurity assessments, cybersecurity events, the impact of recent privacy legislation and how current activity might inform other regulators going forward.
