Managing Director of Practice Management

Overview

As the managing director of practice management, Kurt Morris is responsible for ensuring Faegre Drinker’s practice groups operate strategically and optimally to better serve the firm’s clients. Kurt works with the executive leadership team to set strategic direction, and with practice group leaders to execute on key initiatives and manage financial and staffing models within business units. He also works with the firm’s operations leadership team to help direct administrative actions that ensure a high-level and consistent approach to practice group support throughout the firm.

More than 20 years of management experience with Am Law 100 firms give Kurt a sophisticated understanding of legal services strategy, economics and business management. His background includes substantial experience in recruiting, training and retaining top-level talent in the legal market.

Personal Interests

Kurt is the head coach of a youth mountain biking team based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, that competes across the state and is associated with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.
