Overview

As Faegre Drinker’s chief technology officer, Dan McLoughlin oversees the firm’s technology operations, information security, information governance, business continuity, and compliance and risk functions. Dan provides direction and alignment for the technology initiatives that touch every aspect of the firm’s business and operations, consistent with the firm’s strategic business plan. With more than 30 years of experience in the information technology field, Dan is a natural leader who can navigate the challenges of strategic technology planning, implementation and support.

Dan’s information technology career includes work in the legal and financial services industries. He has directed strategic planning, budgeting, data center architecture and programming initiatives, and managed the use of technology as it relates to litigation and practice support, user support, records, library services, knowledge management, information governance, disaster recovery/business continuance, vendor management and staff development.
