Murray Clark Discusses Clean Power, Airport Acclaim on Inside Indiana Business Roundtable

On August 9, Faegre Baker Daniels partner and former Indiana state senator Murray Clark appeared on a roundtable hosted by Gerry Dick on Inside Indiana Business. The segment focused in part on Governor Mike Pence's opposition to President Obama's Clean Power Plan, a dynamic that Clark described as "an impasse."

"Governors and state leaders have done their own cost-benefit analysis on the impact of these proposed [regulations] on jobs and rate-payers and so forth, and they don't like what they see," Clark said. "Governor Pence is not the only governor who is going to fight it."

The roundtable also responded to the awards bestowed upon the Indianapolis International Airport, which has been recognized as the best airport in North America in four of the last five years. Clark called the airport an "extraordinary success story" that has effected positive economic growth and development.
