Washington, D.C., partner Jay Brudz served as a panelist for “Commentary on Data Privacy and Security Issues in Mergers & Acquisitions Practice,” a webinar hosted by The Sedona Conference Working Group 11 (WG11) on Data Security and Privacy Liability.
The webinar provided an overview of WG11’s recently drafted M&A Commentary and the three critical stages in M&A transactions. The panelists presented on important practice tools of the M&A Commentary, including a typology of data categories and types that may be implicated in the deal analysis, sample representations and warranties, and sample due diligence requests.
