Alumnus Gary Hall Takes on Mentorship Role at Chicago's Crane Tech Preparatory High School

Gary Hall is currently Senior Managing Director and National Head of Investment Banking at Siebert Branford Shank & Co, L.L.C. (SBSCO), the nation's largest women and minority owned municipal underwriting firm with offices in Chicago and 20 other cities. Though his day job keeps him extremely busy, Gary recently took on another role as a mentor to students at Chicago's Richard T. Crane Technical Preparatory High School.

Administrators selected two seniors and two juniors to be Mr. Hall's mentees. Gary met with the students in early December to talk about education and career opportunities and he will continue to guide them in their studies and advise them with their career choices.

You can read more here in the press release issued by SBSCO.

After practicing law in the corporate finance group of Gardner Carton & Douglas until July, 2000, Gary worked in the Mayor’s Office of Budget and Management for the City of Chicago under former Mayor Richard M. Daley. Previously he also served as a White House Fellow assigned to the U.S. Department of Treasury. Before joining SBSCO, Gary was Executive Director in the Public Finance-Investment Banking Group of JPMorgan Securities LLC.
