Anthony Portuese Completes Mediation Training and Receives Certification

Anthony Portuese recently completed a mediation training course by Pepperdine Law School (“Mediating the Litigated Case”), and received a Certification in September. In October 2013, he was a presenter on two panels at The Momentum Group's seminar in New York City: The Litigation Exchange: Drug & Device Edition (Oct. 21 - 22).
Tony joined Aptalis Pharma as its Compliance Director in October 2012 to assist the company with drafting compliance policies, performing audits, responding to investigations and compliance inquires and preparing compliance education and training materials. In this role, he works closely with HR, Corporate Communications and other business units on compliance-related issues. Prior to joining Aptalis, Tony held numerous legal positions with both public and private companies. Tony joined Shanley and Fisher in 1989 and practiced in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group through 1994. He received his BA degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and his JD from Seton Hall University Law School.
