Faegre Baker Daniels Honored for Pro Bono Work
The Colorado Supreme Court recently honored Faegre Baker Daniels LLP at the Colorado Supreme Court's Pro Bono Recognition Ceremony for the firm's outstanding achievements in providing pro bono service in 2011.
Since 2006, the Colorado Supreme Court has recognized law firms, solo practitioners and in-house counsel groups that have committed to providing an average of 50 hours of pro bono legal services by their Colorado-licensed attorneys on an annual basis, with the majority of those hours benefitting low-income clients. Faegre Baker Daniels has met this goal every year since 2006.
"In 2011, the lawyers in our Colorado offices averaged 82 pro bono hours, with 57% provided to low-income clients or organizations serving low-income clients," said Candace Whitaker, Faegre Baker Daniels pro bono manager. "We are extremely honored that the Colorado Supreme Court has recognized the firm for this remarkable commitment to pro bono service."
