Up & Coming Attorney Amy Freestone Profiled in Minnesota Lawyer

Amy R. Freestone, a partner in the Faegre & Benson LLP litigation practice, was honored at a May 8 ceremony for Up & Coming Attorney award recipients. Freestone is also profiled in a special section of Minnesota Lawyer.

The annual Up & Coming Attorney listing honors lawyers who distinguish themselves in their first 10 years of practice through professional accomplishment, leadership, and service to the community and legal profession.

Freestone handles defense of class actions, mass torts, product liability, and consumer fraud cases, with a focus on the pharmaceutical, medical device and food industries. She is a member of the Faegre & Benson Electronic Discovery Working Group and advises clients on the process of retaining, collecting and producing electronic documents in defense of class actions and nationwide multi-district litigations.

Devoting significant time to pro bono and community-focused projects, Freestone volunteers as counsel for Guardians ad Litem as a part of the JUSTice FOR KIDS State Wards Advocacy Project, a partnership with the Hennepin County Guardian ad Litem Program. She is also a board of trustees member for the Washburn Center for Children.

A client of the firm recently awarded Amy its first annual E-Discovery Champion award. Freestone was recognized for her mastery of the company's electronic discovery procedures and her ability to work collaboratively to achieve effective results.
