Ansell Healthcare Products, Inc., an Australian health care company focused on the manufacture of personal protective equipment (PPE), completed the $640 million acquisition of the PPE business of American consumer goods and personal care products company Kimberly-Clark. With legal counsel from Faegre Drinker, whose colleagues in the U.S., UK and China assisted in shepherding the transaction, Ansell Healthcare Products, Inc. closed on the deal on July 1, 2024. The transaction involved the transfer of assets, personnel and certain liabilities in over 40 countries, as well as related financing arrangements in the U.S. and Australia.
