DOJ Prosecutes Oil & Gas Executive for Securities Fraud

The U.S. Department of Justice prosecuted a securities fraud case brought against a former vice president of a now-defunct publicly traded oil and gas service company that collapsed, leaving more than $1 billion in shareholder losses. Henry Van Dyck represented the DOJ in the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota. The former vice president is charged with orchestrating a scheme that caused the company to falsely report approximately $100 million in revenue.
