Consumer Product Manufacturer Protects Trademark From Counterfeiting

United States - Colorado

A consumer product manufacturer protected a trademark by filing an ex parte lawsuit under the Lanham Act against a retail store selling counterfeit goods, and by successfully obtaining both a temporary restraining order and an order authorizing a seizure of the goods. Our firm represented the manufacturer in the trademark infringement matter.

Following the successful seizure of goods, our firm helped the client obtain a preliminary injunction preventing the store and its employees from selling any counterfeit goods throughout the course of the case. Our firm then helped the client obtain a permanent injunction and a settlement in the matter.
