His practice spans cross-border commercial litigation, international arbitration, contentious insolvency and restructuring, as well as internal investigations and regulatory defence. Clients rely on Ishan for strategic guidance from early risk assessment through to resolution.
Cross-Border Dispute Resolution
He focuses on high-value cross-border disputes before UK courts and tribunals, acting for clients in key sectors including technology, financial services, IP and media, energy, and sport. Ishan is frequently engaged at the pre-dispute stage, helping clients assess risk and develop strategies for efficient and effective resolution.
Internal Investigations & Regulatory Defence
As a member of the firm’s internal investigations and regulatory defence team, Ishan conducts investigations into historic matters, advising on regulatory and disciplinary exposure and potential business crime issues.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Ishan was an associate in the disputes team at a major international law firm in London where he completed his training contract from 2020-22.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Ishan is an avid football, cricket, and tennis fan and enjoys running. He is also a film, theatre, and music enthusiast. Ishan is also passionate about exploring different cultures through their food, history, literature, and art.
