Overview
Diego J. Rosado is a business litigator who focuses his practice on assessing, managing, and resolving construction and other related complex business disputes involving real property or fixed assets. Diego represents institutional clients in commercial litigations spanning multiple industries, including construction and real estate, manufacturing and commercial leasing.
Diego handles both defensive and affirmative matters upstream or downstream for clients in the construction and real estate litigation space. He also has experience litigating business disputes involving a variety of contracts, procurement-related issues, commercial advertising and executive employment agreements. Diego has further experience representing broker-dealers and other clients in the financial services industry in disputes before FINRA and various courts.
Clients rely on Diego to strategically analyze and address the legal disputes affecting their businesses in a timely and practical fashion. Clients have consistently recognized Diego’s ability to present a clear and thorough analysis of the issues at stake as well as his persuasive writing skills.
Prior Experience
Following graduation from law school, Diego served as a judicial clerk to Justice Helen E. Hoens of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Diego’s clerkship exposed him to dozens of civil litigations, in the commercial context and otherwise, before New Jersey’s highest state court.

- Represents a prominent real estate development group in a litigation against its commercial tenant
- Represented a premier wedding and special event venue in a complex construction dispute against its former general contractor and various subcontractors
- Represents a solutions provider to the financial services industry in a variety of matters
- Represented a leading healthcare liability insurer in an advertising litigation; summary judgment granted in favor of the insurer. NJ PURE v. Princeton Insurance Company, 2018 WL 4502187 (D.N.J.)
- Represented an infection prevention device manufacturer in a dispute with a former product supplier
- Represented several luxury automotive dealerships in litigations against a former executive and other former management-level employees
- Represented a broker-dealer in an arbitration against a financial advisor formerly employed by the broker-dealer
Personal Interests
Diego is an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Jets and Brooklyn Nets. He also enjoys playing softball, exercising, and reading historical fiction and nonfiction novels.
