Investment Management

Her experience spans a broad range of strategies, including buyouts, credit, venture, real estate, infrastructure, energy, natural resources, and liquid alternatives. She negotiates the full spectrum of investment documentation — fund governing documents, side letter negotiations, co-investment and direct investment agreements — as well as bespoke vehicles such as funds of one and separately managed accounts (SMAs).

Tiffany regularly counsels insurance company investors on rated note feeder fund structures, including structuring note and equity tranches, negotiating payment waterfalls and credit enhancements, addressing rating agency requirements in fund and side letter documentation, and advising on the interplay between fund economics and NAIC risk-based capital requirements.

Tiffany represents buyers and sellers in LP-led secondary transactions and advises institutional investors on GP-led secondaries, continuation vehicles, and other sponsor-led liquidity events. She also counsels institutional investor boards and executives on fiduciary, governance, and legislative matters, as well as fund due diligence, US regulatory developments, custody and securities lending, sustainability, and corporate governance.

In-House Experience

Prior to returning to private practice in 2017, Tiffany served as the chief legal officer and deputy executive director for a public employee retirement system. That in-house perspective shapes how she advises institutional clients, bringing a pragmatic approach to aligning investment objectives with fiduciary obligations.

Service & Recognition

Tiffany is active in the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys, the Council of Institutional Investors, and the Intentional Endowment Network, among other institutional investor organizations. She is ranked in Chambers Global and Chambers USA — Nationwide, Investment Funds: Investor Representation, and was named a Women in Business honoree by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.

Tiffany is passionate about health and wellness, and enjoys any fitness-related challenge, including running, hiking, cycling, HIIT bootcamps, barre and equestrian sports.
