Overview

Aekta Mouli keeps the business interests of clients front and center as she supports their construction and real estate needs.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Aekta worked for Faegre Drinker as a summer associate. Aekta also previously served as an SEO Law Fellow at an outside firm, where she assisted with a corporate legal investigation, contributed to a successful Freedom of Information Act appeal, supported asylum-seeking individuals with legal filings, and completed a secondment with the legal department at Bank of America.

Before law school, Aekta worked in management consulting. In this role, Aekta supported health care provider account relationships, developed a model for assessing digital advertising performance, and assisted with business process planning for the merger of a nine-hospital network.

Aekta also served as managing partner of Atland Ventures, a student-led venture capital fund investing in Midwest startups. In that role, Aekta cultivated investor relationships and helped refine the fund’s investment thesis and presentation materials. This experience has given her a unique insight into the intersection of business and legal matters, with a deep background in client-focused roles.
