Overview

Amy Marcos assists clients in developing and implementing cross-functional strategies and enterprise policies to support information governance. She has extensive experience building and revising records retention schedules, data remediation plans and information system assessment models. In addition to working with individual organizations, Amy serves a leading role in promoting and managing the activities of the Pharmaceutical Records and Information Management Organization (PRIMO), a consortium of pharmaceutical companies committed to establishing effective, legally compliant, quality-driven records and information management programs.  

Amy is adept at balancing multiple business, litigation and regulatory obligations to advance practical approaches to managing growing volumes of data, information and records. She is particularly passionate about bringing together diverse perspectives to identify consensus positions and best practices. In her work with PRIMO and individual organizations, Amy takes a measured approach to find realistic solutions for common data and information governance challenges. She has worked with subject matter authorities across industry verticals to refine an understanding of business functions, as well as organizational priorities.

Amy collaborates with colleagues as part of the firm's interdisciplinary artificial intelligence and algorithmic decision-making (AI-X) team, which advises clients across industries on regulations and risk management associated with AI technologies. Amy’s interest in this space is focused on leveraging complex data analytics to improve patient outcomes in the health and life sciences sectors.
