Austin Lommen

Prior Experience

During law school, Austin worked as a corporate legal extern at a public company based in Minnesota, where he assisted with securities law compliance and general corporate governance matters. He also served as a summer associate at an Am Law 100 firm in Boston, and he gained experience at the Securities and Exchange Commission as an SEC Scholars Program intern in the Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C.

Prior to law school, Austin spent five years in investment banking at Piper Sandler, where he focused primarily on sell-side M&A transactions. His experience building financial models, writing investment memorandums, and managing due diligence as an investment banker gives him firsthand exposure to how private equity sponsors and strategic buyers evaluate, negotiate, and execute deals. Austin draws on this background to deliver pragmatic solutions and help clients achieve their objectives throughout the deal process.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Austin enjoys playing golf, running, camping in the BWCA, and spending time outdoors.
