Yona counsels public and privately held companies on a variety of corporate matters, including transactions, governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior Experience
Yona first joined Faegre Drinker as a summer associate, supporting attorneys in transactional, regulatory and litigation practice areas.
Yona has a robust background in policy analysis, project coordination and research, and served as a data analyst at the Michigan League for Public Policy, developing fact sheets and conducting trainings to support state policy initiatives. As a project coordinator at the Michigan Center for Youth Justice, she improved outcomes for LGBTQ+ youth in juvenile justice facilities. Additionally, Yona managed NIH-funded research studies in mental health as a research study coordinator at Michigan Medicine.
Personal Interests
When not practicing law, Yona likes spending time with her family and pets, hiking, biking, and vintage shopping.
