Overview

Joie Hand counsels clients in a range of industries facing all stages of litigation at both the state and federal level. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, antitrust, and white-collar crime defense.

Joie practices all aspects of civil litigation, including written and oral advocacy, discovery, motions practice and trial preparation. She also represents clients in government investigations, including False Claims Act matters and antitrust investigations.

During law school, Joie served the Student Bar Association as the chair of the London Programme and later as a member of the Career Development Office Committee. Joie also served as a vice president of the Black Law Students Association and a senior article editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law. In her final semester at Notre Dame, she externed in the Athletics Compliance Office.
