Brad Campbell Covers ESG-Related Investments With CNBC

In “Your 401(k) plan may be worsening climate change, expert says,” CNBC quoted benefits and executive compensation partner Brad Campbell on environmental, social and governance (ESG) 401(k) options.

Although the Department of Labor rule remains in effect, it is currently being challenged in federal court in Texas, said Campbell. “Interest in ESG-related investments is growing,” he added. “But uncertainty about the future of the regulation due to the pending litigation and the possibility of policy changes [in] the next presidential election is certainly affecting the pace at which plans adopt such investments.”
