South Bend Tribune Turns to Angela Johnson for Perspective on What Employers Should Know About COVID-19 in the Workplace

Faegre Drinker labor and employment associate Angela Johnson was quoted by the South Bend Tribune in an article that examined what employers and employees should know about COVID-19 in the workplace.

Johnson noted the difficulties employers face when “balance[ing] the ability to operate a business with the need to protect employees” and recommends employers take the virus seriously and rigorously stick to safety guidelines.

She told the Tribune, “Employers should stay up to date with guidance from the CDC as well as from state and local health agencies,” and that “[s]afety protocols should be mandated, policed and enforced because even the best-intentioned employers may fall short if employees don’t take the measures seriously.”
