Restrictive Covenant: Mobile Veterinarians and Their Vehicles

Florham Park partner Larry Del Rossi published an article in Veterinary Practice News titled “Restrictive Covenant: Mobile Veterinarians and Their Vehicles.” Larry discusses mobile veterinarian practices and the unique challenges they face in securing and enforcing reasonable geographic restrictions for a noncompete or nonsolicit.

Larry highlights Heiderich v. Florida Equine Veterinary Services Inc. and Battenkill Veterinary Equine P.C. v. Cangelosi, which demonstrate the need to draft the scope of post-employment restrictions carefully so that they are tailored to fit the particular needs of a veterinary practice.
