Data Privacy & IAs Using AI

Investment management partner Jeff Blumberg presented at the Investment Advisor Association’s 2025 Compliance Workshop on the topics of Data Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in the Investment Management Industry. 

Blumberg discussed the recent developments in data privacy requirements for industry participants and how the evolving legal and regulatory challenges facing advisers’ use of artificial intelligence can impact a range of concerns, including marketing, portfolio management, and investment decision making. Blumberg also addressed best practices for AI use under compliance recordkeeping rules and areas managers can identify and mitigate conflicts.
