Laura Appleby delivered the opening comments on both days of Smith’s High Yield Municipal Bond Conference 2023. The conference took a look at specific sectors like charter schools, higher education, hospitals, senior living and fallen angels.

Laura’s presentations covered Chapter 9 bankruptcies as they affect the municipal investor, as well as corporate bankruptcies under Chapters 7, 11 and 15.
