Employment Litigation Trends During COVID-19 and Beyond

Faegre Drinker’s Tom Barton and Conor Hafertepe shared their professional insight in an Association of Corporate Counsel webinar on employment litigation trends related to COVID-19. Their presentation explored developments including how courts across the country have handled COVID-related claims under workers’ compensation laws, OSHA, the ADA, the FMLA, the wage and hour laws and under various common law and statutory retaliation theories. In addition to examining the latest positions and guidance taken by the EEOC, the DOL and the CDC, Tom and Conor discussed best practices and policies for employees who are beginning to return to work.
