In this fourth session, practicing pharmacists John Mennuti and Jake Crystal will join Faegre Drinker associate and co-leader of the Pharmacy & PBM Segment Jonathan Keller to discuss how COVID-19 has impacted the practice of pharmacy at their hospitals, the evolving role of pharmacists in health care and what actions can be taken to further advance the practice of pharmacy.

  • Jake Crystal, Pharmacy Manager, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center Outpatient
    Jake Crystal is a registered pharmacist who specializes in Infectious Disease. He currently manages the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center Outpatient Pharmacy, a URAC accredited specialty and 340B contract pharmacy. In this role he is responsible for collaborating with providers to optimize patient care, ensuring compliance with New York State pharmacy laws and regulations and maintaining compliance within the 340B program.
  • Jonathan A. Keller, Associate, Faegre Drinker
    Jonathan Keller is a registered pharmacist and attorney who leverages his health care background to advise health care and life science companies on a wide range of regulatory, compliance and licensure matters. As the co-leader of the firm’s Pharmacy & PBM Services Segment, he advises on strategic transactions and licensing matters, drug compounding, controlled substance regulations, telemedicine/telepharmacy issues and various other pharmacy regulatory matters. Jonathan was previously in-house counsel at a community hospital in New Jersey.
  • John L. Mennuti, PharmD, MBA, Morristown Medical Center
    John is currently a practicing pharmacist, working at several area hospitals and in independent retail pharmacy. Formerly, John was a marketing strategist in the pharmaceutical advertising industry and a pharmaceutical sales representative. He is trained in Nuclear Pharmacy and has worked extensively in various inpatient and outpatient capacities.
